Welcome to Sunflowerfest's tenth birthday!
Sunflowerfest 2020 Cancellation

In light of the Government's 10 May broadcast regarding the continuing COVID-19 containment measures and cautious lockdown easing, it is with a heavy heart that we must confirm the tenth edition of Sunflowerfest on 24-26 July 2020 can no longer go ahead.

It has not been an easy couple of months for any of us, yet within the Sunflowerfest community hope remained strong that our festival was well placed to be the first party after the lockdown ended. However, these measures have become necessary to prioritise the health and safety of the Sunflowerfest community.

We are now looking towards next year and are planning to bring you another exciting edition of Sunflowerfest on 23-25 July 2021!

Ticket holders will all be notified by email of the different following options and their procedures. You can:

  • Do nothing and your 2020 ticket will be fully transferred to Sunflowerfest 2021
  • Donate all or part of the cost of your ticket to the festival
  • Request a full refund

If you remember your login details though, you don't have to wait for the email, you can login to your account at TheTicketSellers and give your instructions right now.

We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone for their ongoing support of the festival. Sunflowerfest is an independent arts organisation which cannot happen without all the hard work and enthusiasm of our crew, our volunteers, artists and security staff, and everybody else involved... But most importantly, we would like to thank you, the wonderful Sunflowerfest family, for coming year on year and making the festival an unforgettable experience.

We should have been celebrating our tenth year in July, with our usual eclectic line-up full of madness on our beautiful site. We’re all so gutted. Now, we’re counting on you to not miss next year, so we can finally enjoy our amazing tenth birthday!

Stay safe, and remember... Sunflowerfest is good for you!

Our charity partner - Air Ambulance NI

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland are delighted to be the first official Charity Partner of Sunflowerfest. We are excited to be working with the Sunflowerfest team and we can’t wait to see this year’s festival of music and art, come alive!

Air Ambulance NI, together with our partners at the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) delivers the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for critically ill and injured people in Northern Ireland.

Our pre-hospital care doctors and critical care paramedics provide advanced medical care on-site that is normally only found in the Emergency Department. This early intervention makes a dramatic difference to each patient’s outcome and can be the difference between life and death.

On average, the medical team are called out 1 or 2 times every day. They attend some of the most traumatic medical incidents across the province - it could be a serious road traffic collision, fall from height, workplace, sports or farming accident, or an incident in your own home.

Our EC135 helicopter (call sign Helimed23) can get anywhere in the province from its Lisburn base in approximately twenty-five minutes. Once landed, the medical team establish an emergency department at scene. The interventions depend on patient need and can include opening airways, blood transfusion, sedation and inducing a coma. Once stabilised, patients are rushed to the most appropriate hospital for their needs.

Whilst we hope you never need it, the Air Ambulance is there for you, your family and loved ones 365 days of the year. Fundraising of £2m per year, equivalent to £5,500 per day, is needed in fundraising to keep saving lives, brains and limbs. If everyone does a little to support, it can be sustained today, tomorrow and for the future.
