Sunflowerfest relies entirely on the contribution and commitment of its volunteer team each and every year. This awesome group of dedicated individuals play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Sunflowerfest and help our festival goers get the most out of their weekend!
If you think you have what it takes to help us coordinate NI's only 3-day independent festival of music and arts with camping, and are aged 18 and over then we would love to hear from you!Apply Now
No experience is necessary but you must be at least 18 years old and attend at least one training day on either Sat 23rd June, Sun 1st July or Sat 7th July on-site at Tubby’s Farm just outside Hillsborough.
There are a wide range of volunteer roles such as site preparation & decor, giving out wristbands, monitoring gates, litter picking or just being available to assist our visitors. If you already have festival experience we will try to match and develop your skill-set and you could end up taking on a role with more responsibility. Depending on your role you will be expected to work a minimum of two six-and a-half hour shifts over the course of the festival. You will receive a free meal and soft drink voucher per shift.
It's free... however you will be expected to confirm your volunteer position by providing a Volunteer Bond of £50. This will be refunded on completion of your pre-agreed duties so make sure you turn up to your shifts rather than disappearing in a flurry of cocktails and fancy dress after five minutes. Anyone who is not in position to cover their bond may still apply.
Of course, while you save money on your festival ticket and receive meal vouchers during each shift, you should still budget for your food and drink for the times you are not on duty.
And remember... Sunflowerfest is Good For You!Apply Now
