Oh Boland are a three-piece garage-pop band from Tuam, Co. Galway.
A band equally in love with the Can-nier moments of the Thee Oh Sees and Yo La Tengo and the summer pop jangle of The Clean. Catching them live is wholly recommended.
In 2013, they self-released two EPs aptly titled 'OH!' and 'HO!' on bandcamp for free download. In 2014, they released a 10 track split cassette 'DELPHI' with Westport band Me and My Dog through Dublin pop collective Popical Island which went on to win The Last Mixed Tape's 'Album Of The Year 2014' award.
In May 2016, Oh Boland released their first music video 'Where's The Beach?' which claimed the No. 1 spot in 'The Thin Air's Top 100 Irish Tracks of 2016'.
2016 also saw the release of their debut album 'Spilt Milk' on Volar Records (San Diego, CA, USA) which was included in Pitchfork's Top 20 Garage Punk albums of 2016 as well as being included in many other 'Best Albums of 2016' lists in Ireland, The US and South America.
