Seasoned festival-goers note that NASA Assassin and Magwere are making a return, bringing their much-loved sounds back to this year's festival.

This year’s theme of 'A Parallel Universe' places a focus on futurism. Organisers and designers are collaborating to create a festival experience that will guide visitors through space and time, a unique combination of art and science. Entwined with the music there is the 'magic' of poetry and comedy, storytelling, interactive theatre in the Enchanted Glade of Mystery and Surprises and pop up performances and treasure hunts around the 10 acre site.

Festival Organiser, Vanessa Magowan says "With so many new additions this year including many new acts and performances, new venues, camping and glamping areas and many new creative spaces, Sunflowerfest 2017 promises to be the most exciting festival to date and the hottest gig of the summer. We are excited to be working with a number of new partners too, including Boojum and their street food mobile, the NI Science Festival who will be bringing W5 to the festival and lots of out of this world sci-fi treats. Tonic Health and Wellness are set to deliver a holistic micro-festival in our Bliss Area offering essential chill out time to festival-goers, promoting a healthy way of life to individuals, groups and families who can try new activities, explore healthier choices and discover a life lived differently. We are also looking forward to working with our charity partner RSPB again for an alternative look at the festival and its surroundings and also the Eden Project Communities."
